When you look up at the sky, what do you see? A blue sky? Freedom? Or a hopeful future? The people of Tokyo didn't see any of those. Instead, they saw a dreadful spaceship that appeared above their heads and covered the city's sky. The arrival of the "Invaders" sparked the biggest war humanity had ever faced. A war that threatened to end the world. The Japanese government stood up to fight against the Invaders. Weapons were being mass-produced, which led to controversies and peace movements. That day, everything changed, and yet nothing changed. Koyama Kadode and Nakagawa Ouran spent their last days as usual: going to school, playing with friends, and doing whatever carefree high school girls do. As they grew up, they realized what being an adult really means, in a world where adults seem like monsters who only deceive and destroy, they came to understand that the greatest threat to humanity is not the Invaders, but humanity itself.
